X-ray diagnosis
Our clinic is equipped with the latest digital X-ray system to give our dental surgeons greater diagnostic possibilities and speed up the diagnostic and treatment processes.
Radiovisiography (RVG) is a combination of ultrasound and X-ray, which allows us to make precise evaluations of root and canal lengths and also reveal previously invisible changes in the teeth. The benefits of using RVG:
- A greatly reduced level of X-ray radiation (approximately 90% lower than with traditional X-rays);
- Rapid image development;
- Easy access to data - the images are stored in the system and can be analysed repeatedly and compared with later images;
- Simplified diagnosis - the images can be enlarged, rotated and measured with an extremely high level of accuracy.
This technology is an invaluable tool for planning implant treatment and in the evaluation of jawbone density and thickness.
