Czy ząb po leczeniu kanałowym może boleć?
Leczenie kanałowe to zabieg, który dla wielu Pacjentów stanowi ostatnią szansę na uratowanie zęba przed ekstrakcją. Podjęcie leczenia kanałowego jest bardzo ważne — zarówno bierna postawa, jak i ekstrakcja zęba mogą prowadzić do innych problemów. Metody leczenia kanałowego w obecnych czasach są bardzo skuteczne — a szczególnym uznaniem cieszy się wykonanie tego zabiegu pod mikroskopem. Jak wygląda ząb do leczenia kanałowego?
Zęby, które wymagają leczenia kanałowego, najczęściej stanowią źródło intensywnego bólu, który uniemożliwia normalne funkcjonowanie. Ból wynika ze stanu zapalnego miazgi, którego nie da się leczyć bezpośrednio — miazga zęba wymaga usunięcia. Ból związany ze stanem zapalnym miazgi najczęściej wiąże się z zaawansowaną próchnicą, dlatego zęby poddawane leczeniu kanałowemu najczęściej są mocno zniszczone. Konieczność przeprowadzenia endodoncji może wynikać także ze złamania zęba z naruszeniem miazgi.

Ile razy można leczyć zęba kanałowo?
Zabieg leczenia endodontycznego przeprowadza się tylko w określonych sytuacjach. U większości Pacjentów leczenie wystarczy przeprowadzić tylko raz — podczas niego miazga zostaje całkowicie usunięta, a wnętrze zęba dokładnie oczyszczone, dzięki czemu uzyskany efekt utrzymuje się przez lata.
Może jednak dojść do sytuacji, w której leczenie kanałowe będzie trzeba przeprowadzić ponownie. Wówczas pojawia się pytanie — “ile razy można leczyć zęba kanałowo?”. Najczęściej do endodoncji Pacjent podchodzi dwukrotnie — za drugim razem zabieg określa się mianem “re-endo”. W przypadku, gdy i ten zabieg okaże się nieskuteczny — w takiej sytuacji najczęściej stwierdza się, że ząb nie nadaje się do dalszego leczenia. Wówczas, w zależności od przypadku, rekomendowana jest m.in. ekstrakcja zęba i zastąpienie go implantem.

W sytuacji, gdy ból utrzymuje się bardzo długo, rekomendowane jest skontrolowanie efektów leczenia poprzez wykonanie punktowego zdjęcia rentgenowskiego. Na podstawie uzyskanego zdjęcia stomatolog jest w stanie ocenić prawidłowość przeprowadzonego leczenia.
