For many years, Dr Gajda’s Dental Clinic has been providing care to patients living abroad, especially to our close neighbours from across the western border.
Patients with German health insurance are entitled to a full or partial reimbursement of dental treatment costs. We offer comprehensive support with all formalities related to treatment financing. Our staff prepares a professional TREATMENT PLAN and COST ESTIMATE (Heil- und Kostenplan), which patients require to obtain reimbursement from the German health insurance providers, the Krankenkassen. All documentation is prepared in German.
Stages of reimbursement from German health insurance
- During the first visit, the patient undergoes thorough and specialised diagnostics, based on which the dentist prepares a treatment plan and cost estimate in German, taking into account different treatment options.
- Presentation of the prepared treatment plan and estimate to the German health insurance fund.
- After the documentation is approved by the German health insurance provider, the dentist proceeds with the treatment as per the plan.
- All payments are made directly by the patient, who then receives a German-language invoice. This invoice is submitted to the appropriate health insurance fund for reimbursement of the previously agreed treatment costs.

At Dr Gajda’s Clinic, we provide comprehensive dental care. We have the most modern diagnostic equipment for radiology. In the case of implant treatment, a CT scan can also be performed, and the results are immediately discussed with the doctor. Prosthetic treatment is also carried out in an optimal time frame, as we have our own prosthetics lab. This is a huge advantage because direct consultations with the prosthetist or corrections can be made right away during the scheduled appointment. Prosthetists are available during the clinic’s working hours. We are aware of the logistical difficulties faced by patients coming from abroad, which is why we try to condense dental visits and minimize them to the so-called minimum. The clinic is located directly on the route from Berlin to the centre of Szczecin, so reaching us is very easy.

How to prepare for the first visit?

Our staff will arrange the most convenient appointment and assist with the organization of your stay. The visit at our clinic begins with a medical questionnaire, so please prepare a list of medications you are taking, including any allergies you may have. If you have current X-ray images, please bring them with you.

To issue a collective invoice, we need all receipts issued at our clinic after each visit. Worried they might get lost? There’s no need. Our staff will help ensure they are safely stored. Please remember to leave each receipt at the clinic and inform the receptionist at the end of your visit.
